George Brown, born about 1815, in Sheffield, Yorks married Ann Healey in Sheffield on 30 Sep 1833. George was a file cutter. He appeared in the census on 6 Jun 1841 at Waterly Lane in Sheffield and again on 30 Mar 1851 at Ct 1 No 5 Scotland Street in Sheffield. George appeared in the census on 2 Apr 1871 at 28 Dunscombe Street, Nether Hallam. He became a widower when Ann HEALEY died on 15 Feb 1874 at Greenhow Street, Nether Hallam. He appeared in the census on 3 Apr 1881 at 112 Scotland Street in Sheffield. He died of chronic bronchitis on 12 Oct 1882 at the age of 67 at 112 Scotland Street in Sheffield and was buried on 15 Oct 1882 at Bungreave Cemetery, Section A3, grave 88 in unconsecrated ground.
